Generate free monthly rent receipts for your HRA claim under Section 10(13A). Add landlord PAN, print a full year of receipts as PDF — no signup required.
A rent receipt is proof that you paid rent to your landlord. Salaried employees submit rent receipts to their employer to claim the House Rent Allowance (HRA) tax exemption under Section 10(13A) of the Income Tax Act. This free tool generates a full set of monthly receipts you can print or save as PDF.
Yes, if your total annual rent exceeds ₹1,00,000 (i.e. more than about ₹8,333 per month), you must report the landlord's PAN to claim HRA. If the landlord has no PAN, a signed declaration is required. Enter the PAN once and it appears on every generated receipt.
A revenue stamp (₹1) is required on a rent receipt only when rent is paid in cash and the amount exceeds ₹5,000 per receipt. Payments made by cheque or bank transfer do not need a revenue stamp regardless of amount.
Choose any start month and a count of up to 12 months. The tool creates one receipt per month with the correct month label and running receipt numbers, then prints them all together so you can save a single PDF for the whole period.
Yes. Avani Business OS computes HRA and the exempt portion during payroll, collects rent proofs in the employee self-service portal, and factors the exemption into monthly TDS automatically — so HR does not chase paper receipts every year.
