Employee self-service portal for Indian workforces. Access salary slips, apply for leave, check KPI scores, view tasks and announcements — from mobile or desktop. Built into Avani Business OS HRMS.
Every employee lands on a personalised home screen showing today's attendance status, pending tasks, leave balance summary, next salary date, and recent announcements — all in one glance. No more calling HR to ask basic questions about their own data.
Employees can download their monthly salary slips as PDF from the portal the moment payroll is processed. Slips show gross salary, all deductions (PF, PT, TDS, LOP), and net pay. Historical slips from all previous months are stored and accessible at any time — useful for home loan applications and VISA documentation.
Apply for Casual Leave, Sick Leave, Earned Leave, Comp-Off, or any custom leave type in under 30 seconds. Track the approval status in real time — pending, approved, or rejected with the manager's comment. Leave balance for each type (including carry-forward) is always visible on the dashboard.
Employees see tasks assigned to them by managers — with due dates, priority levels, and project context. They can update task progress, add comments, and mark completion. Managers track completion rates without needing separate project management tools.
View current KPI scores, monthly targets vs. actuals, and performance ratings — in real time. Employees see where they stand before formal reviews, enabling self-correction. Sales staff see their lead conversion rates; support staff see resolution SLAs; all departments have relevant metrics displayed.
HR and leadership push announcements — holiday notifications, policy updates, event invites, compliance reminders — directly to all employees or targeted groups (e.g., only Delhi NCR office, only sales team). Employees see announcements on login and receive push notifications on mobile.
An employee self-service (ESS) portal is a secure web and mobile interface where employees can independently access and manage their own HR data — salary slips, leave balances and applications, attendance records, task lists, KPI scores, and personal profile details. It reduces dependency on HR for routine requests and gives employees 24/7 visibility into their own employment information.
Employees can: download current and historical salary slips as PDF; apply for and track leave requests; view real-time leave balances; check attendance logs and request corrections; view and update assigned tasks; see their KPI scores and targets; read company announcements; and update personal details like address, emergency contact, and bank account (subject to HR approval).
Yes. The Avani employee portal is a fully responsive web app and is also available as a native mobile app (Android and iOS). Mobile access is especially important for field sales teams, factory workers, and remote employees who are rarely at a desktop.
Yes. All historical salary slips since the employee was onboarded to Avani are stored and accessible from the portal at any time. Employees frequently use these for home loan applications (banks in India typically require the last 3–6 months' payslips), VISA applications, and income tax return filing.
The portal uses HTTPS (TLS 1.3) for all data in transit and AES-256 encryption for data at rest. Each employee can only see their own data — they cannot access other employees' salary, leave, or personal information. Admin and HR roles have broader but still access-controlled views. Session tokens expire after inactivity and two-factor authentication can be enabled.
Yes. The portal includes a support request feature where employees can raise HR tickets — e.g., "my attendance is wrong for 15 April", "please update my bank account", or "I need a salary certificate". HR sees these in a ticketing queue, responds, and resolves them. The employee is notified at each stage.
HR or team managers define KPIs per role — e.g., for a sales executive: monthly revenue target, number of new leads converted, client calls made. Actual performance data is entered or synced from the CRM. The employee sees their score as a percentage of target on their dashboard, updated as frequently as the data is entered — weekly or daily.
HR can revoke portal access instantly from the admin panel — typically on the last working day or when the relieving process is initiated. Before revoking, the employee's salary slips and experience letter can be made available for a configurable download window (e.g., 30 days post-exit) so they can collect their documents.
